Cross-trade shipping is the model in which buyer and seller are in different countries and the cargo travels directly between them. As a company based in Türkiye we can send goods you buy in China to Libya, raw materials from India to Morocco, or products sourced in Europe to Dubai, without the cargo ever entering Türkiye. This removes unnecessary transhipment, storage and customs cost, and shortens overall transit time.
Wislog Logistics manages the full chain: loading at the port of origin, the ocean or air leg, and delivery at destination. Bill of lading structure, the need for a switch B/L, certificates of origin and insurance are planned around your commercial set-up. Where supplier details must not be visible to the buyer, or buyer details to the supplier, we structure the document flow accordingly.
We operate cross-trade lanes from Far East and South Asian ports to North Africa and the Gulf, from the Americas to the Mediterranean, and from Europe to the Middle East, in both full container (FCL) and groupage (LCL) form. Where consolidation is required, cargo can be gathered at a warehouse in the country of origin or at the transhipment port.
What do we offer?
Direct routing
Cargo sails from the port of loading to the port of discharge; because it does not enter Türkiye, transit time is shorter.
Commercial confidentiality
Where required, a switch bill of lading and a controlled document flow keep supplier and buyer details separate.
One point of contact
Loading at origin, the main carriage and delivery at destination are handled by a single operations team.
FCL and LCL
Both full container and groupage options are available on cross-trade lanes.
Consolidation
Shipments from several suppliers can be combined in the country of origin or at the transhipment port.
Document management
Bills of lading, certificates of origin, insurance policies and destination-country requirements are tracked by our operations team.
